There’s something magical about a baby’s first Christmas. While your little one may be too young to fully understand, it’s a perfect time to start family traditions that will grow with them. From making personalised ornaments, wearing matching pyjamas (more on that later) to capturing special photos with Father Christmas, every little moment is a memory in the making.
We know that while Christmas is the most magical time of the year, it can also be the most expensive time of the year. So, we’ve put together a list things to suit all budgets while still making sure your baby’s first Christmas is as special as possible.

We’ve also included a few more fun activities to do this Christmas.
You could also get a group of mum friends together and have a party for your little ones at one of your houses. Everyone brings something to keep the cost down.
Use some store cupboard basics to make some salt dough and create some little hand or foot print decorations. These make a perfect gift for grandparents too!
Make some Christmas Cards with your baby’s hand or footprint for friends and family. You can get kids paint (around £1 a bottle) and card from The Works.
Head to B&Q or a local garden centre and take your baby to look at the lights on display!
Finally, we said we’d come back to the matching family pyjamas, sorry Dads! Here’s where you can order some of our favourites this year. All are available on Island or deliver here.
Hope you have a wonderful time and make some lovely memories.
