Easter is a magical time filled with pastel colours, sweet treats, and extra bank holidays! From sensory play to plenty of baby-friendly and toddler-approved activities it’s easy to make Easter special. Whether you’re looking for creative ways to celebrate at home or outdoor adventures, we’ve rounded up some the best ideas to keep your tiny bunnies entertained and engaged this Easter season!

We’ve put together a list of things to do to make sure your Easter is as special as possible.

Throughout the spring it’s lovely to head to the Arboretum in St John’s and see the ducks and all the spring flowers. Check out one of our recent reels to learn more.

We’ve also included a few more fun activities to do this Easter.

You could also get a group of mum friends together and have a Spring themed playdate for your little ones at one of your houses. Everyone brings something to keep the cost down.

Use some store cupboard basics to make some salt dough and create some little hand or foot print keepsakes shaped like Easter eggs. These make a perfect gift for grandparents too!

Make some Easter Cards with your baby’s hand or footprint for friends and family. You can get kids paint (around £1 a bottle) and card from The Works.

Create a sensory bin with soft pom-poms, or shredded paper "grass." Add baby-safe Easter toys like fluffy chicks or wooden eggs for a fun, hands-on experience. There’s some great bits in The Works for this.

Fill a soft Easter basket with baby-safe goodies like plush toys, teething rings, board books, and soft fabric eggs. Let your baby explore the textures and colours.

Hope you have a egg-cellent time and make some lovely memories.
